Why this training?
The jute industry is important in West Bengal. Thousands or millions of people in the state are directly and indirectly involved in this jute industry. But at present, there is a great shortage of skilled and trained workers in the state for the jute industry. And to fill this gap, the state government has made arrangements for training in this action-oriented jute industry.
Training deadline
- Traditional training will be done for 1 month
- Hand pen training will be done for 2 months
Place of training
The training will be conducted at various action investment centers in 12 districts of the state. These are Bankura, Howrah, Dumdum, Barrackpore, Chunchura, Purulia, Jhargram, Bolpur, Kalna, Srirampur, Ulureria, and Basirhat.
Required Qualifications
To do this training, the applicant must have at least a signature and be registered with the Employment Bank.
Age limit
Only those over 18 years of age can apply for this training.
Salary during and after training
No salary or allowance will be paid during the training. However, free accommodation and meals will be available at this time.
After the training, an attendance allowance of Rs 15 per day along with Rs 370 will be given. As well as various government facilities will be provided.

- Spinning method of jute, various welding methods of jute
- Different beaming methods of jute
- Different weaving methods of jute
